Change Your Mind

Losing weight, exercising more, eating healthy, going to bed early, cutting out sweets, WHATEVER your goal is, the first thing you need to do is get your head in the right place. There is a big difference between knowing what to do and actually following through with it

One thing that will help you to achieve your goals is to shift your mindset from a temporary goal to a lifestyle change. Some differences between a temporary goal and a lifestyle change include:

Temporary Goal
Lifestyle Change
Goals are self-limiting. Once you reach your goal, you stop.
The goal is open-ended. The change becomes part of your daily life.
Surface level change. Simple changes are made to behaviors you are already doing (or not doing).
Changes made on many levels. In addition to the physical changes you challenge the attitudes, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings that made you unhappy to begin with.
Progress is measured by completing tasks. Failure to achieve the goal is upsetting and feels like a constant battle. High stress is constant.
Progress is measured by satisfaction and quality of life. Your goal is still important but put in perspective with your overall life.
Results don’t last.
Results are lasting. Lifestyle change is an open-ended journey with goals that change with you.

Change your mind from finishing an 6-week program to achieving life-long health and wellness! You'll not only improve your own health but you'll also be a great example to your friends and family!

What is your goal?
